My journey in art led me to the technique of dry point etching. In this technique I have found new avenues of creativity. As I am fond of drawing I find dry point ideal to continue using the sketch in combination with a varied palette. The brilliance of the etching ink makes the mixing and matching of hues exciting. There is also an element of nervous anticipation on the outcome of the print. I look for inspiration in the environment I grew in, its colours, textures and its people.. – Usha Ramesh
